iPad 3 to hit shelves in 2012

Well lookie here. Seems Apple has stuck to their yearly release of the most awesome gadgets ever put on a store shelf. Well the iPad 3 seems to be no exception. Now I have always been a windows guy myself. I always thought Macs were too expensive to begin with. Even after I bought my first iPhone 3G I was not too impressed. I was back at the AT&T store the next day trying to return it. Well thank you sales guy for convincing me not to. Now i am on the iPhone 4 and love it. Well as in all gadgets, I like to wait until a version or 2 have passed before looking into a purchase and the iPad is no exception.
According to Mashable, it seems like Apple has been trial production on the next-generation iPad! Fantastic! but early 2012?! Ok no problem I can wait.
The Wall Street Journal has stated that Apple has begun ordering chips, display panels and other goodies that make up the iPad 3. Seems that the resolution will be getting a sweet upgrade and im sure from the other articles you have all read that the processor is getting and upgrade and yada, yada, yada.
Now back to me. I want one! ok I'm done.
